I've just finished reading The Physiognomy, by Jeffrey Ford, which is without a doubt one of the strangest books I have ever read. It's out of print, but Amazon.com still has a synopsis and review posted along with out-of-print sources. I expect to be going back and looking for the sequels.

Does anyone have comments (without spoilers) on this or any other work by this author?

I guess nobody else has read this author. After venturing off in other directions for months, I am now nearly done with the sequel, Memoranda. I find it to be brilliantly imaginative, and for the sake of that I am willing to forgive many small flaws. The third book is waiting on my shelf.
